21st Century Scholars Program changes to increase college completion

Tuesday, September 24, 2013

The 21st Century Scholars Program, which provides resources and scholarship funds for students from low-income backgrounds, is making changes to its requirements in hopes of increasing college completion among its participants.

Changes to the program will require students to report online when they complete tasks such as filling out financial aid applications and participating in community service projects. Guidance counselors and community agencies will be able to access the report and monitor the students in the program.

For more information, read the Indiana Public Media article about the changes.
