Associate Instructor, Grader Training
Representatives of the Writing Program will meet with faculty members and their Associate Instructors to help train the AIs in the consistent and efficient marking of writing assignments to the instructor's standards.
Typically, these meetings take the form of a "norming session"--a structured meeting at which lead instructor and graders evaluate and discuss a set of papers together to articulate a clear grading scale.
