| Teaching
Statement My teaching I believe teaching students what they are interested in and need (the most) is the most effective way of teaching. Although in reality it is hard to meet the goal especially when following a textbook. Still I like to teach students things that are practical, useful, current and interesting and language that they can use or apply to their daily lives. I like to keep my class fun and have a pleasant atmosphere. And because I believe language learning can be more successful if students can put it to use in their immediate environment after understanding and practice repeatedly, I often provide information such as useful websites and community events that can enhance their learning experiences. I believe a teacher’s role is to help each individual student to meet his/her goals and to achieve his/her potential. I especially pay attention to individuals’ needs and help them accordingly. |
