Statement Confucius was one of our greatest teachers in Chinese history, and he believed that 因 材施教(yin cai shi jiao, which means to teach students in accordance with their aptitude) is one of the keys of great teaching. This idea is very much close to Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence theory. Their ideas both have influences with my teaching, which is to be more sensitive to different students’ needs in learning. |
