Statement I uphold our school district’s mission, which is to “educate students to be self-directed learners, collaborative workers, complex thinkers, quality producers, and community contributors”. Therefore, I want to create a classroom community that is respectful, nurturing, and full of learning. I believe that personality development is the foundation for a student’s success in all areas. Through teaching the Chinese language and culture, I hope I can model for them that everyone should try to live up to his fullest potential by being a life-long learner. In addition, I‘d like to instill in them that we should be humble and respectful in front of others, and it is through communication that we build a community in understanding and trust. |
