Problem-Solving Exam

Exam Delegate Registration Form
Teachers, print this form fill it out, and mail it to Tina Gilliland.

Purpose
To provide delegates a fun, yet meaningful exercise, and to provide an opportunity for the recognition of students and schools that excel.

Delegation

Two students from each school, referred to as "exam delegates."

Preparation

This activity is designed to test a student's knowledge across several different science disciplines and their problem solving skills. Last year the students indicated that the exam was way to easy. Therefore, this year I've asked faculty from all science departments to send in 5-10 questions each. So be prepared, this year's exam will be a little more challenging! However, keep in mind that this activity is suppose to be fun.

Calculators WILL be allowed.

Awards
  1. Recognition of the top two (2) schools with the highest combined scores of their two delegates.
  2. Certificates to the five (5) students with the highest individual scores.
  3. Plaques will be awarded to the students achieving the two highest scores.
