Chad Beck is a PhD candidate in Communication in Culture pursuing both a minor and a graduate certificate at the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies. His research interests are media and culture in the U.S. and Latin America, Mexican and U.S. Spanish-language television, cultural industries, globalization and hybridity.

Sara-Daisy Dygert first year graduate assistant with CLACS, focuses upon human rights, welfare of women and children in conflict zones, civil society, social movements and revolutions, and U.S. trade and foreign military aid policy in Nicaragua and Colombia.

Michelle Ruhlin MA/SPEA (MPA) joint master's student between CLACS and SPEA.  Her research interests include migration and border issues and culture, among others. Currently, she is writing a thesis focusing on diversity management practices for Latino/a employees

Pam Sanders is a second year M.A. student also getting her certification to teach secondary Spanish.  Prior to IU, Pam worked as a project manager at Procter & Gamble and then lived and worked in Mexico City for 5 years in non-profit work.  Pam's areas of interest are Mexican history, Latino immigration history, Spanish-American literature, and Latin American popular music.
