2nd Floor, East Tower
1320 East Tenth Street
Bloomington, IN 47405
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (closed on IU holidays)
Because construction is underway on the School of Global and International Studies, the library parking lot is closed except for handicapped parking. Additional A-permit and C-permit parking spaces have been made available at the following nearby parking lots and garages to accommodate the loss of library parking.
- Jordan Garage
- 11th & Fee Garage
- 13th & Fee lot
- 10th Street lot (next to the Student Health Center)
All paths and entrances on the north side (10th Street) of Wells Library remain open, but construction limits access from the south. In the image below, red areas are blocked from public access. Blue lines show open paths to the library from the southeast and southwest. If walking from the southwest, enter the building through the School of Library and Information Sciences (West Tower of the library). Note: Because of path reconstruction in the arboretum, currently there is no access to the library through the arboretum.
The following buses stop at Wells Library:
- Campus A, B, D, and E
- Bloomington Transit 6 and 9
