Advanced Mongolian I

Course objectives

The advanced level class reviews the basic kinds of compound and complex sentences in Mongolian. It develops the four language skills by actively engaging students in communicative activities. Students develop a sense of Mongolian literary style through the reading of diverse materials. In-class oral presentations, discussions, and role –plays help students to increase their fluency in the target language.

The advanced level introduces students to academic style translation. Students will further enhance their knowledge of Mongolian culture and history as well.

Assignments

The final grade is based upon classroom performance and attendance, homework (oral and written), tests and quizzes, midterm and final exams
