Advanced Kazakh I

The primary goal of the course is to familiarize students with the most important parts of contemporary Kazakhstan life. The course aims at the improvement of the four skills of language acquisition: speaking, listening, reading and writing. It also involves occasional translation tasks. The advanced level course extends the learners' language skills to forge accurate and fluent communication skills. It builds on the previous levels using a wide variety of stimulating and challenging activities. Activities involve listening to narratives, interviews from authentic sources, such as radio, and other language programs.

Class attendance and participation are mandatory.
