Course Objectives

The Intermediate level course increases student’s fluency in oral expression, develops their listening and reading skills. It extends their understanding and active use of the fundamentals of grammar and literary language of Uzbekistan.

During the course students extend their grammar and vocabulary as well through extensive conversation and reading practice. Students use journals and newspapers that illustrate modern life and language in Uzbekistan, as well as the Internet, e-mail and Oncourse to watch and listen to authentic materials.
