This variable title course introduces one or more of the following Iranian languages dating from the first to twelfth centuries: 1) Middle Persian (Pahlavi); 2) Middle Parthian and Manichaean Middle Persian; 3) Sogdian; 4) Bactrian and Saka, Documents are drawn from manuscripts, manuscript fragments, and/or inscriptions.
