Course objectives
This course will introduce students to the history of Tibetan medicine, examining its non-Tibetan roots and its growth within Tibet. The development of the primary Tibetan medical techniques and the main teaching lineages will also be covered.
Requirements: 1 midterm, 1 final, and one short two-page essay (undergraduates only) and one ten-page paper (graduates only).
Undergraduates and Graduates will have separate examinations.
