Course objectives
This course will introduce Students to the Tantric tradition in Tibet, how it spread, who spread it and how it this particular tradition came to be identified as one of the most important components of the Buddhist tradition Tibet inherited from India. Students will learn about the main lineages of Tantric tradition and its most well-known practitioners.
Requirements: 1 midterm, 1 final, and one short two-page essay (undergraduates only) and one ten-page paper (graduates only).
Undergraduates and Graduates will have separate examinations.
