  • Mainly in Mali, but also in Burkina Faso, Gambia, Guinea-Conakry, Mauritania, Cote-d'Ivoire, and Senegal
      WHAT'S OFFERED AT IUB:
     
  • Bambara is offered from first to third year levels and extends to 4th year depending on enrollment.
  • Bambara can be used to fulfill the foreign language requirement, the African Language Minor, and can count towards the African Studies Certificate.
  • Bambara students, both undergraduates and graduates, are eligible for the Foreign Language Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship.
