The Cardboard Boat Regatta will feature boats, made solely of cardboard and duct tape, racing the length of the Outdoor Pool. Teams will be racing against each other and the clock. Awards will be given to the top three fastest teams. Special awards will also be given for "Most Creative Boats."

The Council for Advancing Student Leadership was formed in 1998 by a group of students with a vision for strengthening student leaders on campus.

About the IU Outdoor Pool:

Located at the Corner of 17th Street and Fee Lane, this campus landmark has been an on campus retreat for students, faculty and staff, and the Bloomington community for over three decades. Featuring a 10 lane, 50 Meter lap pool, the Outdoor Pool is also home to a complete diving facility with four 1 meter springboards, two 3 meter springboards and a diver tower with 5 levels going up to 10 meters. There is also an instructional pool designed for small children and their parents. The Outdoor Pool offers lap and recreation swimming during the day as well as the county's finest instructional program.
