The Émigré Memorial German Internship Program (EMGIP) - German State Parliaments (Fall, 2008) CDS International Provides American and Canadian students the opportunity to intern at the Landtage - German State Parliaments. This is a great opportunity for individuals hoping to pursue careers at a regional level of government in the US or Canada, or who are interested in specific policy issues such as the environment, education and/or healthcare. Participants on the program gain practical work experience with a state parliament, utilize their German skills and experience German culture firsthand. May 9, 2008
Summer Dissertation Internship Federal Reserve Board Interns work on a topic of their own choosing, usually furthering dissertation research begun before the internship. Preference is given to Ph.D. candidates whose topics are in macroeconomics (broadly defined), international economics, finance, banking, and econometrics. Summer Project Internships Federal Reserve Board The Division of Research and Statistics offers paid internships during the summer for graduate and undergraduate students to work on projects previously identified by economists in the division. Summer Unpaid Internships Federal Reserve Board Throughout the year, the Division of Research and Statistics occasionally offers opportunities for students to work on projects as unpaid interns. The duration of the internship is generally ten to twelve weeks, depending on the assigned projects. Summer unpaid internships selections are based solely on academic records and references. Internship Program

E3 Network E3 Network's internship program pays for graduate students in economics to work with non-governmental organizations on environmental issues during the summer months. NGOs benefit from the expertise of the interns' training in economics and gain a better appreciation for the role economics can play in environmental protection. Graduate students gain insights into the real issues confronting the environmental community and explore possible avenues for their research and professional development. March 15, 2008
Summer Health Policy Internship Congressional Budget Office The Health and Human Resources Division provides the Congress with analyses in the areas of health, income security, education, and employment. Recently, the division has analyzed options for increasing the number of people with health insurance, altering Social Security with the aging of the baby-boom generation, and making use of private health plans in Medicare. Other studies have examined consumer-directed health plans, prescription drug pricing, the effects of medical malpractice reform, as well as changes in low-wage labor markets and the role of immigrants in the U.S. labor market. 2008 Bank's Summer Internship Program Federal Reserve Bank of Boston The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's 2008 Summer Internship Program runs from June 2 to August 22 (twelve weeks, full time). The Bank places graduate and undergraduate students in positions throughout the Bank. Applicants for the program must have completed their sophomore year of studies.
