Macroeconomists	Congressional Budget Office	The Macroeconomic Analysis Division is seeking macroeconomists with a broad range of interests, including public finance and fiscal policy. In the past year, the division has analyzed a wide range of issues, including the effects of fiscal stimulus, long term implications of growth in the federal debt, policies that address problems in the mortgage and financial markets, tax policies, climate policies, and reform of the nation’s health care system. The position involves writing CBO studies about similar issues, drafting testimonies, and carrying out original economic research.
