This spring conference brings together students, staff, and faculty from across IU campuses to build and build on connections, conversations and committed action related to research, teaching, learning, and life skills in diversity.

Productive Differences: Reaching Across Divides aims to bring together students, staff, and faculty from across Indiana University campuses to build and build on connections, conversations and committed action related to research, teaching, learning, and life skills in diversity.

This is a half-day conference that will begin with a keynote address during luncheon, followed by three 1-hour panels consisting of: (1) faculty sharing their disciplinary approaches to integrating diversity-based knowledge into course content; (2) faculty and staff unpacking the complexities of diversity education on the campuses; and (3) undergraduate students sharing their experiences and ideas on how diversity at IU looks to them.

Who can submit: Open to IU Undergraduate Students
When: April 3, 2016

If you can share your view on "How do you see diversity on campus," and are willing to create a video about it, you may have a chance to win $500. That's because we're looking to develop a series of videos about diversity and need your help!

The First Place video will win $500 from The Asian Pacific American and Latino Faculty and Staff Councils through the generous support of the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs (DEMA). The Second Place video will win $250, and the Third Place video will win $100. All additional runner ups will have the chance to be featured in our series.

If you can share your view, tell us how in a video that is 60 seconds or less. Upload your video to YouTube and complete the submission form below (including a link to your YouTube video) and simply hit "SUBMIT". Deadline for submission is midnight April 3rd, 2016.
