The DGS advises students on degree requirements, coordinates and often supervises committees that award departmental honors and grants, ensures that paperwork is submitted for degree requirements, and on occasion provides career guidance and advice to graduate students.

International graduate applicants should submit their online applications by December 1st, and mail their transcripts and paper applications by the first week in December to the Office of International Admissions.
