Financial Assistance: Undergraduates
- The Herman B. Wells Scholars Program is a based on merit and provides full tuition, mandatory and course-related fees, and a living stipend for four years of undergraduate study on the Bloomington campus of Indiana University. Wells Scholars may major in any field offered at Indiana University. Each shcolar works with an Honors College Advisor to design a course of study that takes into consideration the individual student's abilities, interest, and goals.
- Jesse H. & Beulah Chanley Cox Schoalrship is awarded to Indiana high school students of exemplary achievement who are interested in working under the direction of a faculty mentor on research and scholarly activities. The Scholarship, which has a total value of more than $60,000 over four years, provides funds for tuition, fees, books, and room and board, and also includes a research stipend.
- Sarah Parke Morrison Society Scholarship. Undergraduate women who are enrolled as full-time students, have financial need and are first-generation college students, meaning that neither parent graduated from a college or university are eligible for the Scholarship. The Scholarships will range between $500 and $1,000.
An application form accompanied by one letter of recommendation from an IUB professor or advisor, an official IU transcript (one from One Start will be accepted), and an explanation of financial need are required. The scholarship deadline is January 21, 2009, and applications will be available online and at the Office for Women's Affairs (located in Memorial Hall E120).
