What does ADAPT Consulting at IU do?

We are a student-led consulting group that specializes in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Instead of keeping our knowledge inside the classroom, we want to gain hands-on experience within our community. Working for your business or organization, we hope to provide you with practical, actionable deliverables developed using the latest insights from the psychological sciences.

Each project is tailored to your business or company's particular interests. Each project is assigned a lead member who is your point of contact with ADAPT. Their project team is hand-selected in order to best fit the project needs. Projects typically run the length of a semester and conclude with a presentation and any deliverables promised.

What type of projects can you do?

ADAPT specializes in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, which has its roots in the study of worker behavior and efficiency. Some areas of interest to us are:

Job Analysis
Performance Review
Training and Development
Motivation and Job Attitudes
Stress and Worker Well Being
Organizational Development and Leadership
