Introducing Asian Knowledge Bowl 2009 - Canceled due to unavoidable circumstances

Face off against other students in a quiz bowl style team competition which will test your knowledge of Asian American history and culture. The contest is open to all student groups! So don’t pass up this great opportunity! We will be offering the following prizes:

Solo Team Prizes            Bonus for Teams with 2 student groups represented
First prize - $200            ($300 Bonus)*
Second Prize - $100      ($200 Bonus)*
Third Prize -$50             ($150 Bonus)*

*To promote collaboration and to foster unity among students, these Bonuses are offered ONLY if your group pairs with another student group. For example, if Thai Student Association (TSA) were to partner with Latinos Unidos and won first prize, they would split a total of $500 evenly ($200 prize and $300 bonus). Each student group is only allowed to register once. (e.g. No members of Asian American Association will be able to represent their group in more than one team.).

This event will be canceled if there are less than TEN groups registered by April 4th for this event, so spread the word and register as soon as possible! Help your organization raise more money by competing for the prizes. The registration deadline will be on April 4th.

Any student group registered with the Student Activities Office is eligible to compete. Each team must have a total of four members. If pairing with another student group, each group has to have 2 members on the team for a total of 4 members. During registration, each participant must declare which student group they are representing. Participants must be undergraduates.
