The Indiana University African American Arts Institute is an exciting and unique performing arts program that focuses on the rich and varied traditions of African American heritage. Our mission is to promote and preserve African American culture through performance, education, creative activity, research, and outreach. We serve our mission through the activities of three ensembles that are also academic courses – African American Choral Ensemble, African American Dance Company, and IU Soul Revue.
