International Programs and Outreach

These IU offices and programs support international partnerships for faculty and the campus and provide educational programs for schools, business, and the public.

Office of the Vice President for International Affairs: The office promotes and coordinates international studies, programs, and outreach for all of IU's eight campuses.

Center for International Business Education and Research: Supports international activites for the Kelley School of Business, including faculty and curriculum development, research, and business outreach.

Center for International Education and Development Assistance: This center assists newly democratic societies build institutions, education programs, and critical projects through external grants and contracts.

Center for the Study of Global Change: The center provides opportunities for global research and learning, professional development, and programming to faculty and students of Indiana University, as well as for K-12 teachers, students, and the general public.

Global Speakers Service: This service provides international and study abroad students, scholars, and faculty as speakers to organizations interested in learning more about international areas and issues.

Honors Program in Foreign Languages for High School Students: This summer program provides high school students the opportunity to learn another language and culture by living with a family in France, Germany, Spain, or Mexico.

International Studies for Indiana Schools: This distance-learning program uses interactive video technology to connect K-12 schools and community groups with international students, scholars, and specialists.

Register of International Affiliations: A comprehensive list of linkages between IU and partner institutions.

School of Optometry International Programs: Faculty, staff, and students operate an eye care center in Mexico and actively engage in partnerships with universities in China, Poland, and Thailand.
