A Campus Full of Exciting Opportunities
The beauty of IU Bloomington is that whether you’re in the mood to explore profound ideas, attend an interesting event, or hang out with friends, there’s always something to do.
Classes in hundreds of different majors are just the start of the opportunities at Indiana University. IU students also excel in research labs, in art galleries, and on stage, and they can explore their diverse interests through an amazing variety of student activities. When they have down time, they exercise at the SRSC, meet up with friends at the Indiana Memorial Union, enjoy concerts in Dunn Meadow, and much, much more.
Indiana Memorial Union
It will take you years to discover everything the Indiana Memorial Union has to offer, so get started now. The Union is more than just a place to gather, eat, and study. It is one of the largest college unions in the world, and houses six dining areas, three snack shops, a coffee shop, a three-story bookstore, a credit union, a 187-room hotel, a copy center, a computer lab, a movie theater and auditorium, a hair salon, a bowling alley, a billiards room, an art gallery, photography and ceramics studios, an outdoor adventure center, student organization offices, and more.
Dunn Meadow is a sprawling green space in front of the Union where students relax, walk dogs, and play Frisbee. Students can also host group call-outs, fairs, festivals, and concerts here.
