Team-based Learning -- A Workshop for Faculty
Would you like to have your students come to class prepared to engage in meaningful dialogue and critical thinking? Well, here is a workshop based on principles of active learning, and procedures derived from Larry Michaelsen's book, Team-based Learning, to help you do that. In this workshop you will be a team-based learning participant, much as the students in your classes would be. After the experience, we will discuss what makes team-based learning work. At the completion of the workshop, you will be able to construct a team-based learning exercise for use in your instruction. |
