Desktop Publishing Using Microsoft Publisher

Thursday May 20, 2004
2:00 - 5:00pm
W.W. Wright Bldg., Room 2010

The 2004 Instructional Consulting Workshop Series continues with a brand new session on improving your desktop publishing skills. The first part of this workshop will present basic desktop publishing design principles for using text, space, and style.

In the second part, Microsoft Publisher will be introduced and participants will have some fun working with MS Publisher to create brochures, announcement flyers, and other deliverables. Output options, scanning, and copyright issues will also be touched upon.

Participants are encouraged, but not required, to bring their own ideas, images, and text for the hands-on activity. Sample images and text will be provided for participants who don't have a particular project in mind, or are still in the planning stages of a project. There will be additional time at the end of the session for participants get individual assistance from IC consultants.

Presented by Mark Millard, Instructional Consultant GA, IU School of Education

Seating is limited, so Please RSVP using the online form, if you would like to attend.
