How to Make Online Content Accessible for All Students

Tuesday May 11, 2004
2:00 - 5:00pm
W.W. Wright Bldg., Room 2010

As Internet technologies have tremendously improved, there has been a rising demand for high-quality education for all learners using the latest technologies. The greater number of courses offered, the increase in the number of enrolled students, and the variety of technologies utilized for distance education together bring about many unprecedented problems related to Web accessibility.

The 2004 Instructional Consulting Workshop Series begins with a brand new session on web accessibility. Through this workshop, participants can acquire knowledge and skills regarding Web accessibility standards and guidelines to maximize Web accessibility for all learners, with or without disabilities. They can also apply these standards and guidelines to make their online or partially online courses accessible.

Presented by Seak-Zoon Roh, Instructional Consultant GA, IU School of Education
Guest Speaker: Margaret Londergan (Director of Adaptive Technology Services, IUB)

Seating is limited, so Please RSVP using the online form, if you would like to attend.
