• November 1, 2008 – Priority application date for consideration for certain scholarships
• December 2008 – First Round of finalist selection and interviews
• January 2009 – Second Round of finalist selection and interviews
• February 15, 2009 – Deadline for STARS applications
• March 2009 – Final Round of finalists selection and interviews
• March 15, 2009 – All applicants are notified of selection decisions
• May 1, 2009 – Decision date for selected STARS students
